As you ascend above the treeline, enjoy panoramic views and immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of the Rockies. Along the way, take short hikes to see fast-flowing waterfalls, snowmelt streams and glaciers while savoring hot drinks and snacks onboard.
Your knowledgeable guide will share the history and geology of the park, along with fascinating insights into local wildlife.
Travel the historic Old Fall River Road, the park’s original high alpine route, dating back to 1920. Stop at the Alpine Visitor Center, the highest-altitude visitor center in any US national park, for a chance to explore the gift shop, grab a snack and take in sweeping “top of the world” views.
Continue your adventure along Trail Ridge Road, North America’s highest continuous paved road, reaching a peak elevation of 12,183 feet. Stay cozy in the van with its glass roof offering unobstructed views, even above the treeline.

Session Length
Your Rocky Mountain National Park Glass-Top Bus Tour will last for approximately 4 hours, starting at 9:30am each day.
Meeting Point
Meet at Purple Mountain Tour Company, located at 165 Virginia Drive, Estes Park, CO. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for check-in.
The tour departs on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. Don’t forget to tip your guide for a great experience!
