Vital Information
Participants must be able to get into the hot air balloon basket unassisted. Children must be at least 14 years old, and over 4'6" high (1.4m). A child under the age of 16 years will only be flown if accompanied by a responsible adult appointed by the parent(s) or guardian. Maximum weight is 18 stones (114kg). Please be advised of all standard flying precautions.
The Weather
These flights can be carried out year round, weather permitting. It is advised to phone the location prior to the flight to check weather conditions. If it is unsuitable, you will be able to reschedule for another convenient day.
Session Length
The Hot Air Balloon ride has an approximate total flying time of 1 hour, however participants and spectators are encouraged to participate in the pre and post flight preparations of the Hot Air Balloon Weekday ride. Guest should allow 3 to 4 hours for the whole experience.
Numbers
This Hot Air Balloon Flight is for two people. The Hot Air Balloon accommodates up to 4 participants so you will share the flight with other people.
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome to participate in the pre and post flight preparation of the Hot Air Balloon, as well as watch you take off into the sky. Spectators are encouraged to join you on the Hot Air Balloon ride by purchasing additional gift experience vouchers.
What To Wear
During the Hot Air Balloon ride it is recommended to wear clothing suitable for the appropriate time of year, preferably made of natural fibres, and waterproof walking shoes or boots. You may wish to wear a hat during your Hot Air Balloon ride to protect your head from the heat of the burners. Women are recommended to wear trousers. Due to the limited Space in the hot air balloon it is advised to avoid bring large backpacks, or additional baggage.
